4 year training program: NAH believes in providing students with a solid foundation of homeopathic knowledge, grounded in the teachings of the homeopathic pioneers. The first two years comprise over 500 hours of lectures on homeopathy. Time is allocated to the various subject areas based on guidelines established by the International Council on Classical Homeopathy. Subject areas include History, Philosophy, Materia Medica, Repertory, Case Taking, Case Analysis, Case Management, and Ethics. The second component of the program is designed to give students hands-on clinical experience in homeopathic practice, much like the residency programs of medical students, in our faculty-supervised Student Clinic. NAH offers one of the most advanced homeopathic training clinics in the country. This intensive clinical training experience provides all the elements needed for a successful homeopathic practice. NAH has designed their program to offer a thorough 700 hours of experience for each student: a combination of teacher demonstration (first two years) and personal hands-on case management (second two years).
